Pratap
joined BBC TV in 1988 as a Production Trainee and settled in the general documentaries
unit before going freelance. He has a range of journalistic experience, writing
for The Independent, The Observer & is a former editor of the New Internationalist
magazine. His early career included script editing for BBC drama.
He has extensive foreign filming experience, especially in South Asia, Sub-Saharan
Africa, China & the US. Pratap has a particular interest in exploring
serious stories with a human and humorous touch.
